OUR COMMITMENT TO FOOD SAFETY
We are aware that Japan has released treated waste water into the ocean. The plan has been approved by the International Atomic Energy Agency and the approach is in accordance with global safety standards. As this is a recent announcement, our team is monitoring the situation closely.
Shoukouwa Shinjidai flies in the choicest seafood four times a week from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market. We will continue to provide clear instructions to our suppliers in accordance with the directives from the Singapore Food Agency. The well-being of our guests remains our first priority. Should circumstances warrant, we would like to assure our diners that our restaurant has ample access to alternative sources of seafood with similar quality from other countries that comply with the safety standards stipulated by the Singapore Food Agency. We will be providing another update when more information is available. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at info@shinjidai.com.sg.
